Snorkeling, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, wakeboarding, surfing, sea-bobbing, sailing… the only tricky part about exploring our unique, family-friendly marine playground is deciding which one to choose for today’s adventure.
Kayaking
Grab a paddle and explore our quiet coves or let us take you on a guided seabound adventure.
Our expert guides know all the best coves and crannies and will take you and your family or group out to our outlying islands to explore by kayak. Paddle around caves, marvel at blow holes, watch birds circle above and take in the incredible variety of flora clinging to the cliff edges. Or help yourself to a kayak from our well-equipped Watersports Center and explore in your own time.
Snorkel
Dip your head beneath the surface to experience the true color and variety of our marine environment.
Enjoy the wonder of the protected coral reefs around Islas Secas, taking in our rich variety of tropical fish, from parrotfish, angelfish and butterflyfish, to loggerhead turtles, eagle rays and even the occasional pod of bottlenose dolphins. For a true marine escapade, we can also take you further afield to Isla Montuosa or the world-famous waters of Coiba National Park.
Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP)
Glide gracefully over the waves and explore Islas Secas from the special vantage point of a stand-up paddle board.
Visit our Watersports Center and head out on an SUP for a unique and relaxed view of our coast. With four miles of protected coastline to explore, you’ll quickly get the hang of it, ready to stop by caves, drop into deserted beaches and float over colorful reef systems.
E-Foil
Fly over the surface of our emerald waters on an e-foil for the ultimate waterbound adrenaline hit.
You’ll need good balance and high-octane taste for one of our electronic hydrofoil surfboards (e-foils), but once you’re up, you’ll be flying. Find your feet and zoom above the waves, feeling the exhilaration of speeding over the surface on a hydrofoil wing. Teens will love this activity and it is available for over 12s only.
Seabob
See the world as dolphins do, racing through the sea with the assistance of an exhilarating Seabob.
Using the power of discreet underwater jets, a Seabob allows you to effortlessly propel through the water at speed, providing a fast and fun way to soar over reefs and through the waves. Over 10s only.
Surfing
Surf some of the best breaks in Central America, minus the crowds, at Morro Negrito.
Join us on a 45-minute boat trip over to Morro Negrito for some truly exceptional – and gleefully empty – surfing and bodyboarding. We’ll kit you up and lead you to the right spot in the Gulf of Chiriquí for your skill level, from exhilarating waves for old-hands, to gentle breaks for the more cautious. Please note that there is an additional fee for this activity.
Sailing
Tailoring the experience to your skillset, sailing offers a silent and serene way of exploring our pristine islands.
Meet our team of experts at the Watersports Center and head out on one of our agile Hobie catamarans. Making the most of our seabreezes, sailing around Islas Secas provides a peaceful and effortless way of exploring this secluded coastline.
Wakeboarding and wakesurfing
Surf behind our speedboat on a wakeboarding adventure, or grab a tow and surf out a wake.
Strap into our wakeboarding gear and zip along behind our boat, enjoying the wake. Alternatively, use a wakesurf to get some speed up behind the boat and then let go to surf out a particularly thrilling wave.
