Announcing Central America’s most spectacular new residence, the ultimate private tropical playground for friends and family
casa cavada
Paradise Found
Casa Cavada is a jaw-dropping architectural marvel. Built to meld with the surrounding landscape, the soaring structure emerges from the rocks above the waves, creating Panama’s most extraordinary private luxury residence, with a manta-ray-shaped roof, cathedral-like ceilings, staggeringly beautiful indoor-outdoor design and a remarkable infinity pool with expansive ocean views. Four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a private kitchen and a vast living space lead onto a second, even larger outdoor terrace to the pool, edged by a beautiful vaulted bar & lounge area. This is the true jewel in our archipelago's crown.
Extraordinary Design
Sprawling over 8,300 square feet, Casa Cavada is perched high on the cliffs of Islas Secas, wrapped by rainforest and with endless views of the ocean.
Huge, sustainably-harvested eucalyptus trunks emerge from the coralstone floors, soaring up to support an extraordinary undulating roof, crafted to honor the shape of a ray or a frigate bird’s wings. With triple-height ceilings perfectly framing the ocean views and capturing the sea breeze, every angle offers a front-row seat to the splendor of the Pacific. Follow the flow of the building down to a semi-Olympic-size infinity pool, surrounded by soft day beds and a beautiful open-air lounge beneath frescoed lavastone ceilings. A dining terrace hangs on the edge of the world. This is the luxury home vacation rental you’ve always longed for.
Exquisite Interiors
We call it contemporary chic with Panamanian flair.
The vibe at Islas Secas’s ultimate luxury residence is tactile and organic, where reclaimed teak and recycled textiles rub along with deep, linen-covered sofas, marine-influenced ceramics, colonial-style rattan chairs and local weavings showcasing local tribal patterns. Fallen trees from the archipelago have been repurposed into beautiful furniture, while traditional artworks commissioned and handmade in Panama by the indigenous Guna tribe grace the walls alongside paintings from local emerging artists. Bedrooms feature breezy four-poster beds and spacious ensuite bathrooms with custom-made geometric tiling, all featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and huge balconies. Staggeringly beautiful ocean views come as standard.
Exceptional Service
Casa Cavada blends seamlessly with the Islas Secas experience.
That means you’ll be looked after by a team of genuinely warm, exceptionally experienced staff from the second you arrive. From made-to-order breakfasts, to freshly-mixed cocktails and celebratory feasts, the professional kitchen will look after all your dining needs, while the housekeeping team will ensure everything is spick and span throughout your stay. If you wish to visit Terraza, the Spa or Activities Center, we can whiz you there with a golf buggy in under a minute. Otherwise, it’s a fairly steep but quick five-minute walk to the main hub of Islas Secas. Our team is, of course, on hand to arrange everything from scuba diving to marine safaris and private beach days.
Ultimate Privacy
If you wish, you won’t see another guest during your stay – such is the privacy and wild, elevated location of Casa Cavada.
Of course, you’re more than welcome to make the most of our exceptional facilities, from delicious meals at Terraza and custom-mixed cocktails at Balboa Bar, to the thrilling marine safaris and land adventures on offer from our Activities Center. Just get in touch, and we’ll craft a personal itinerary that makes the most of both your luxury vacation rental and Islas Secas.
