We don’t want to blow our own trumpet, but Terraza, led by Saul, is widely regarded as the finest restaurant in Panama. Our team will cook you up a feast of experiences, from five-course fine dining beneath the stars, to paella on the beach, to catching your own fish and learning how to transform it into the freshest ceviche – plus hugely fun mixology classes. Your foodie notebook will be fit to burst.
Are you… a scuba fan?
The Gulf of Chiriquí is one of the least explored and richest marine ecosystems on the planet, and scuba divers are literally spoilt for choice. You might spend the morning floating around underwater pinnacles spotting manta rays and turtles, or discovering caves home to green morays, and afternoons on a drift dive, passing colorful coral and parrot fish. Or head to the celebrated Coiba National Park, where the waters have been protected for centuries. Add to that wildlife kayaking, swooping over coral with a seabob, and fascinating talks on marine conservation, and you’ll know you just have to come back.
